FairShare's Flexible, Pay-As-You-Go Pricing
FairShare works on a pay-as-you-go model and your monthly cost will vary depending on the number of members (your customers in the FairShare marketplace) and your engagement with their data. Here’s how it works:
DataCreds: the currency of FairShare
Funds added to your account will be exchanged for DataCreds: the virtual currency of the FairShare data marketplace. DataCreds represent a unit of value ascribed to a member’s data. This allows for members to earn based on the amount and type of data they share, and for businesses to only pay for the access they need. The value of DataCreds is directly tied to the US Dollar: $1USD = 1000 DataCreds.
What do DataCreds pay for?
Your DataCred balance goes towards three variable costs: member data storage, access to member data (insights reports) and API reporting. Data storage charges are incurred daily, and are based on the number of members you have in the FairShare platform and the number of social accounts registered. Access to insights reports and API reporting are pay-per-use charges.
What is the cost per user?
Storage (incurs daily): 2 DataCreds
Data Access (per report): 2 DataCreds
API Reporting (per call): 2 DataCreds
How much can I expect to pay monthly?
FairShare’s pricing is highly variable based on the number of members and your engagement with their data. Please also note that storage costs come out of your balance daily, and access costs are charged at the time of reporting. This means that your total cost can be easily adjusted throughout the month and tailored to your business’ needs and budget.
